This is the main issue with EntreCard. Although I've received a fair amount of visitors, most have been "drive by card droppings." Do bloggers still not understand that in order to be truly successful one must step out of his/her niche and explore? I do and I'm glad I've taken the time. I really enjoy reading your blog so far and I definitely plan on adding it to my Google Reader... you also got a stumble from me.<BR/><BR/>As far as EntreCard, I just joined this morning and it is really impressing me. I have already had the chance to network with other bloggers (it is in fact how I ended up on your blog) and has brought in a pretty good amount of traffic already.<BR/><BR/>However, EntreCard is only one of the strategies I am using with my blog. And since you spoke of traffic generating strategies for blogs, I'll go ahead and say that the old days are out where you can just make a great blog... post to it regularly and leave it be. This might work if you are blogging in a niche that is in high demand without a lot of competing sites (very hard to find) but along with great content, I completely agree with you in that it is all about NETWORKING with other bloggers.<BR/><BR/>I have been applying the various strategies I use with my blog that just launched yesterday (only blog I have out there, I have no other websites with good PR that are helping me out) and as of right now (looking at my stats) I have had 100 unique visitors on my blog.<BR/><BR/>Now, I'm sure many established bloggers would cry over that figure (in disgust), but remember this is only the second day my blog has been in operation. All of my techniques are honest and genuine and I don't use any blackhat methods to generate traffic.
